Junior Safety Officers

This year, our year 5 Junior Safety Officers (as part of Cheshire West and Chester) are Mackenzie and Maisie. 

They have been nominated to promote road, community and personal safety within the school. Their role includes reading out special safety messages during assemblies and organising competitions.

The JSOs record how they raise awareness of road, personal and community safety across the community which is logged in their JSO handbook.

Since September, they have been very busy in communicating messages and implementing safety across the shool and withinn the wider community. Not only have they been organsing monthly competitions and assemblies, but have also read 'Teddy takes a walk' to Reception and Nursery and put a speed awareness banner up at the top of Moss lane to encourage drivers to consider their speed when passing the school.
