The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a big change to Data Protection Law, and came into force on May 25th 2018.
With new rights for data subjects and new duties for data controllers, the GDPR is Data Protection redesigned, revived and reinforced.
Martin Waters (CWAC) is the school’s Data Protection Officer. This role is to oversee and monitor the school’s data protection procedures, and to ensure that we are compliant with the GDPR.
The data protection lead in school is Colleen Evans . This role is to implement GDPR procedures within school and liaise with the DPO.
