Roald Dahl Day

I would just like to say a big thank you for all your efforts with yesterday's Roald Dahl day!  The children looked amazing.  We had Willy Wonkas, Veruca Salts, Fantastic Mr Foxes, Violet Beauregarde and Matildas and a Miss Honey.  Not to mention Ooompa lumpas, a couple of Georges (and his marvellous medicine), a mouse and a Mrs Twit!  We've taken pictures and these will be included in our Roald Dahl display in class.

In the afternoon we listened to a reading of the BFG, read a grizzly chapter from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and watched a live stream programme all about the great man.

Lastly, we held a quiz (well done team Thor!) and a colouring competition which Mrs O'Sullivan and myself are hoping to judge this week.
